Q: Of all the freelance copywriters advertised on the web, why should I hire you?
A: If you work in the video games industry, the answer is simple - we know your requirements inside out because we have more insider knowledge than any other freelance writer or agency out there. As well as accumulating almost a decade of in-house experience at EA, we regularly complete a variety of writing, editing and branding projects for six of the industry's biggest names.
Q: Do you accept clients from outside of the video games industry?
A: Absolutely! We've spent a number of years working outside the video games sector (including spells at Dorling Kindersley and Microsoft Encarta) and regularly provide editorial support for clients across the publishing spectrum. Even if your project is unrelated to gaming, we still believe we can provide a more customer-focused, flexible, cost-effective and high-quality service than most of our rivals.
Q: Do you travel to your clients' workplaces?
A: We'd be happy to undertake work at your place of business if that's easier for you. However please note that a premium is usually charged in order to cover travel expenses.
Q: What are your terms and conditions?
A: We usually agree terms on a project-by-project basis. Please contact us for more information.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Copy Republic's charges are listed on the Rates screen. Please note that copywriting, technical writing and branding projects are priced on a project-by-project basis and the published figures should only be used as a guide.
Q: How can you afford to charge lower rates than many of your rivals?
A: The only things we share with the big city agencies are a passion for writing and a high-quality product. We don't believe you need a flashy office in Soho to produce top-of-the-range copy and that philosophy allows us to pass the financial benefits of lower overheads onto our customers.
